Bloom 5.0
Total Project Value: EUR 60,000.00
Co-financing: 100%
Project duration: September 1, 2024 – February 28, 2026
Program: Erasmus+, KA2 – Small Partnerships
The BLOOM project aims to enhance educational programs in digital technologies for adults, particularly those with fewer opportunities, through the transnational collaboration of adult education organizations from Croatia and the Czech Republic. The project focuses on two specific objectives:
- Strengthening Educational Capacities:
This involves training educators from adult education organizations in Croatia and the Czech Republic in digital pedagogy and technology application for teaching. Six educators will be trained in theoretical and practical skills to improve existing educational programs and create new ones based on blended learning principles.
- Creating Blended Educational Programs:
The project will develop and make available blended learning programs that teach digital skills necessary for work and active citizenship. These programs aim to motivate and engage learners, improve their employability, and ease their daily activities in an online environment.
Target Groups
The project targets various disadvantaged groups, including:
- Older adults with limited computer skills.
- Persons with disabilities and reduced physical and mental capacities.
- Young unemployed individuals (NEETs).
- Organizations that work with these groups to enhance their digital skills and employability.
Key Activities
- Training for educators in digital pedagogy and IT tools.
- Development of internal digital transformation plans for partner organizations.
- Creation of digital manuals in English, Croatian, and Czech for educational programs.
- Implementation of blended learning programs on topics like Digital Skills for Active Citizenship, Basic IT Knowledge, and Advanced IT Knowledge.
- Establishment of eLearning systems for the delivery of these programs.
Partnerships
The project is a collaboration between the Technology Innovation Centre Međimurje (TICM) in Croatia and EDUcentrum in the Czech Republic. TICM, a business incubator and informal adult education provider, and EDUcentrum, an organization focused on innovative education and lifelong learning, bring complementary skills and experience to the project.
Expected Outcomes
- Improved digital skills and competencies among the target groups.
- Enhanced educational capacities of the partner organizations.
- Development and dissemination of high-quality blended learning programs.
- Increased employability and active citizenship among participants.
Overall, the BLOOM project aims to create a sustainable impact on adult education by integrating digital technologies and innovative teaching methods, thereby addressing the digital divide among disadvantaged adult learners in Croatia and the Czech Republic.
